Terms & Conditions

1) Definitions

“We/Us” = Original Image Ltd trading as TotalTech Power.
“Customer/You” = the person ordering the work.
“Goods” = parts/components supplied.
“Services” = installation, upgrades, diagnostics, commissioning.


2) Quotes and “From” Pricing

  • Package prices shown on the website are starting prices for standard installs. 
  • Final pricing is confirmed after assessment (photos and/or onsite) and depends on access, cable runs, existing wiring condition, and any additional work required.
  • If an on-site visit is required outside our normal service area, we may charge a call-out/travel fee, which will be confirmed with you in advance.


3) Variations / Additional Work

  • If we discover issues (e.g., unsafe wiring, non-standard modifications, hidden damage, difficult cable routing), we will advise you and provide a price for any additional work before proceeding.


4) Deposit and Booking

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and order parts. 
  • Parts may be ordered only once the deposit is received. 
  • The deposit is applied to the final invoice.


5) Cancellations / Rescheduling

  • If you cancel after parts have been ordered, you may be responsible for non-refundable supplier costs (restocking fees, freight, etc.). 
  • We may charge a reasonable fee for late cancellations/reschedules (e.g., within 48 hours) to cover time reserved and travel.


6) Access and Customer Responsibilities

  • You must provide safe access to the vehicle and work area (keys, parking, roof access, pets secured). 
  • You confirm the vehicle is in a condition suitable for work (e.g., roof integrity, no leaks). 
  • You must disclose any known faults or previous electrical modifications.


7) Scope Limits

  • We specialise in RV solar and DC power systems. 
  • 230/240V mains wiring is not included unless explicitly agreed in writing and completed by a registered electrician.


8) Completion, Commissioning, and Handover

  • We commission the system and demonstrate operation at handover. 
  • You are responsible for operating the system within the manufacturer's limits.


9) Warranties and Consumer Guarantees

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied components. 
  • Our workmanship warranty covers installation-related faults for 12 months.
  • Consumer goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Law 2. 
  • Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, consumers automatically receive guarantees when buying goods/services ordinarily purchased for personal use 1.


10) Faults, Returns, and Warranty Claims

  • If a component fails, we will help coordinate warranty assessment with the supplier/manufacturer. 
  • Some costs (e.g., removal/reinstall, travel, freight) may be chargeable depending on the supplier’s warranty terms.


11) Payment Terms

  • Balance is due on completion. 
  • Late payment may incur reasonable admin costs/interest.


12) Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. The Consumer Guarantees Act sets minimum guarantees for products and services and provides remedies if those guarantees aren’t met, and the Fair Trading Act prohibits misleading conduct, including misleading pricing .

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of use, or business interruption arising from the supply of goods or services.
  • Our total liability for any claim relating to the goods or services we supply is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific job giving rise to the claim.
  • We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., supplier delays, weather, access restrictions).
